The person who looks forward to learning new things. Does so often. The person who is reluctant to learn new things. May not at all. It doesn't matter why a person is reluctant or not. We are surrounded by many layers of lies and deceptions. Fear of what others may think if you try to learn something in which the majority of your peers disagree with. Fears of any kind can limit your growth and development. The willing Jedi seems to be the one who is free. While the Reluctant Jedi is entrapped by their own fears. The willing Jedi steadily grows and develops at an ever increasing rate. Until, That moment when a transition rushes the willing Jedi into a state of continual newness.
