You the reader don't settle on one absolute right meaning. There seems to always be non conflicting meanings to everything in the Holy Bible. For instance, How many different lessons can you teach just from the story of Jonah? The key here is many non conflicting interpretations. Just like in the story of Jonah. The Good, Bad and ugly(Movie). I know the movie is fictional. But, the meaning of good "can" only mean, good at it? While not being good in any way or righteous or holy. This is an old OTR trucker saying. "If you can't be good, then be good at it. Truth can be hard.
