Survival is not fun and nor is it an adventure. You do not have the luxury or freedom of choosing where and when you are in an emergency survival situation, unless your name is Les Stroud. Guess what, No one is Less Stroud except for Less Stroud. So do not be like Less Stroud looking for places to survive and die in. If you ever noticed anything about Less Stroud the most important tool he ever brought was not a knife or any other man made piece of gear. He brought his well trained noggin. In other words Mr. Stroud has a well developed skill set. This is by far the most important survival tool that you must have and it is a variety of functional skill sets. While it is easy to see all of the successes of what Mr. Less Stroud has accomplished. I think he also suffered from a myriad of parasites and other medical ailments as associated from his filming in all of those different locations all over the world. He was able to go back to the modern world and get medical treatment. In a SHTF survival situation you may not have the luxury of ever getting medical treatment. So what ever parasites you get, you just get and yea... Remember the show "Monsters Inside Of Me"??? I don't and do not want to remember that show.

The best way to survive any emergency situation is to ensure that it does not happen. While at the same time making all necessary preparations for any predictable and non predictable survival situation when they do happen. Because in the Holy Bible it does say that it rains on the just and unjust(Mathew 5:45) https://biblehub.com/matthew/5-45.htm 

Survival is like prophecy. When you are in the knowing. You must understand and take action that it is you who is responsible to either mitigate or prevent the coming bad or sad, if possible. We have the stories of Joseph and Jonah in those fundamental teachings. It does not matter if you know when or not. It is like this, for those who live in the snow and ice. When do you prepare for your brutally cold winters? You move to Florida(humor intent, though serious in excessive thinking on your part.). When you know that any emergency survival situation is about to happen. Do not be there. It is like in Florida, when the hurricanes come. You do not be where the hurricane will be. In the summer or during every pleasant day that you experience is when you prepare for the winter season. But why? because it is wise not to freeze or starve to death in the coming months of that winter season. It is just like how people prepare for the floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, lightning strikes, alligators, giant constrictor snakes and any other predictable emergency. You must prepare before hand. When you prepare you are exercising your wisdom through necessary action. When you know and understand that dangers can and often times do happen and yet you do nothing to prepare for them. You are acting on your own level of foolishness. You will become a victim and you may be digested alive. Especially when you feed and pet Florida alligators and give loving hugs to giant Pythons(humor). This is just not about Florida. You need to know and understand that no place and no where in the world is a safe place to live in. Every place on this planet has it's own unique dangers and threats to humans.

----SHELTER----

If the worse thing happens. You must have shelter in which you will safely reside in during the many days of hiding from radioactive fallout or any other extreme weather event. Your shelter must be engineered to your necessary specifications and built prior to any actual emergency event. You will call this shelter your home. Even if your home is for many generations like Noah's Ark was when it landed on dry land within the mountain ranges. The Earth was destroyed and the people had to remain within the open doors of the Ark for a time as plant life and animal life had to be repopulated. There would be safety within the ark as the 500 plus foot ship survived what it had to survive as the whole world was being flooded. The boat had to be built before hand. Supplies had to be placed in the boat before hand. The boat became their shelter. Just as your own home will become your own shelter when any emergency comes. The emergencies I'm talking about is not just from nuclear fallout or from humans becoming biological AI controlled zombie robots(That might be a movie idea). I'm talking about your typical emergencies as I've mentioned above and in other writings. So your shelter or home should do more than just survive any of your own typical local common emergencies. So yes your home should be your own safe house with every room being a safe room. If possible your basement should become a reinforced structure. If you can expand on your basement with underground root cellars, hidden water wells and actual fallout or bomb shelters and you think that is a wise idea. Then you should move your assets, sell your assets and build it. But, watch out because within the doomsday survival market place there are sharks, snakes and gators who all want to take all that you have. These evil people will even sleep well at night knowing that you and your children might die in their sleep and blow themselves up all at the same time. So when you see Christian themed art as associated with a business logo. You probably need to stay away from that one. When you see that the business with Christian themed logos offers up their own in house built nuclear bomb air cleaner in a black box. Stay away. When you have the option of adding gas heaters, water heaters, ovens, and stoves within a so called genuine bomb shelter or nuclear fallout shelter. You will know it is they who are the snakes, sharks and alligators that are just trying to get your money. Oh yea, even though they offer warranties they do not honor them. Look to the research words below.

Your home shelter should have the appearance inside and outside of a genuine home. The appearance of your home should look good in the environment it was built within. This is important as no one likes to live in some concrete structure with only gray paint on the walls and a forever echo chamber for a continuous and never ending test of your insanity. So all aspects of your home should be home like. 

Your home shelter should survive on its own all of the common natural disasters which do happen from time to time and is predictable. So if you live in a forest do not build your home out of wood. If you live in an Earthquake zone than build your home which is capable of keeping you safe in multiple Earthquakes of high magnitudes. 

Your home shelter should be a safe place for you and your family in case bad and evil two legged animals break in. So each room should be a safe room even with secret exits to a common safe and secure place/space. 

Your home shelter should be designed and engineered for the worse case thing that you think can happen in which your home becomes a home base. Your home shelter needs to have ample space for everything in accordance to your entire families functional skill sets. Your home should be located close by to those who are your friends, your church family and your community. 

Your home shelter should be thought out wisely with the idea on expandability. So a modular concept should be engineered into the home.

 ----AIR-----

Who needs air? We all need clean fresh air. The more natural, the better. Inside of your home, basement, shelter and bunker system you must have a continuous and steady supply of clean fresh air. While exhausting bad, old and used up air. While at the same time maintaining a positive air pressure inside of your living space. A positive air pressure is important as this will not or should not allow contaminant's, biological's, radio-logical's from gaining entry into the living space. There is specific math behind all of this and it is for per person/animal.

A healthy and fit person can survive for up to three minutes without air. Sure, some people can last longer and some cannot last as long. In some situations a person who inhales and fills their lungs with a bad gas which is unseen and odorless can die nearly instantly. It doesn't matter how healthy or fit you are. You just pass out and die. This can happen to people who have walked through ancient caves both natural and man made. 

But, what is worse is breathing in a little bit of bad gas or radio-logical bad gas which will kill you in the months to come as you die in some very painful manner or worse your child suffers as all you can do is watch. All because, you did not plan well enough. So yes, when and if your planning for a man made emergency. You should have very quality air cleaning systems made in Israel and/or by the Swiss. They are the best in the world. 

----WATER-----

A healthy person can last for about three days without water. Clean drinking water from a well point should be a very critical decision when selecting a property site for the building of your home. No well water or well water options, then do not buy that property. A clean source of drinking water is essential and the hiding of the clean water source is necessary. Especially, in any extreme survival situation where the fate of humanity is at stake. Your clean water source should be a hidden well point directly under your home and shelter system. In many states and in many nations having your own well point may be illegal. I'm not suggesting that you break any laws. So do your own due diligence and make your own decisions out of your own free will. You should have a secret and well hidden well point for each of your outlying buildings. These well points should be both manual and powered.

Water filtration and conditioning must also be considered for each well site on your property. The hauling of multiple 50 pound bags of water softening salts is also a consideration for other efficiencies in the design phase. 

----FOOD-----

A healthy person can live for about 30 days. So the need for food preparation is essential. The story of Joseph in Egypt in the Holy Bible is my go to story on why you should continue to do as you do. Those persons and families who have already begun to prepare for a SHTF event must reconsider how much food they should save for each person. All food preparations should be kept secret and hidden is hidden places with hidden entrances. This is because there is a difference between preparing for any typical short term emergency event and a SHTF event. This must be reasonably addressed to prepare for a SHTF situation or not. What ever answer you come up with is OK for you. For the SHTF or even very long duration economic turmoil where the governments come out with PSA's that eating worms as a food source and is fun. You'll be happy. Yea, right! Growing, raising and storing your own foods will also prevent your family from going hungry during any food shortages. Especially if those foods shortages are multi year long like with Joseph in the Holy Bible. Which means you have to plan ahead, as which Joseph had to do. In order for everyone not to die. Including his own brothers who beat him, nearly killed him and then sold him into slavery. There are a lot of lessons in that story. 

There are many food categories and these are. These food sources do have a order to be eaten as well as for a functional purpose. all food products must be dated and ordered in FIFO. All products must be kept as cool as possible. Cool and cold temperatures must be continuous. Product temperature cannot ever reach any unsafe temperature at any time. If it does, then it should be used or consumed. This will lengthen shelf life. You should save for each category of food at least 1 year supply per person. Yes, you should extra food for family, friends, your church and your community. 1). Store bought non-perishable foods. Shelf life can be typically in the months. 2). Your own canned and jarred foods. 3). Typical emergency food sources. 4). American military MRE's. 5). Heirloom, antique, natural and wild seeds of every edible kind for your specific growing region. 6). The plants, bushes, trees which are already bearing fruits. 7). Animals which are raised as food and resources.

FIFO: First In First Out. Be warned Grocery stores do receive products with short dates. So you have to organize according to those dates on the packaging and not when you bought them dates. 

Canning and Jarring: Means your already growing and raising your own foods.

MRE Warning: The MRE's are used when soldiers must have very high caloric intake to match their very extreme physical exertions. A soldier or person eating these must already be hydrated and remain hydrated during the digestion process. Or that which comes out will be like concrete.

The Seeds: You should already be saving seeds and learning how to properly organize and store seeds. This is money here and trading value. Even save seeds which are outside of your growing region. This is because trade will become reestablished with outlying areas. Seeds will become money. I cannot over emphasize the need for the proper storage and organization of all seeds. Can you imagine trading seeds to a group of people and they invest years of effort only to discover that the seeds from fruits which were labeled as organic from a store were irradiated and the DNA was nearly destroyed. How do you think those starving and desperate people are going to deal with you when the idea of law and order is no more? Any plant life or seed which is GMO or hybrid must be destroyed.

Honey Bees: No bees means no food for you. Which means you all starve and it matters not what you have planned and saved. So how do you manage your bees? How do you keep them from dying out in the open? Do you or will you have a specific inside place for them to live and survive? Do you even have this skill set?

Plants, Bushes, Trees: You need to know it can take up to 5-7 years for any food bearing plant, bush or tree to go to first fruits. Then another 1-2 years for them to go to full fruits. The Avocado can take more than a decade before it goes to first fruit. Can you imagine investing ten years into a fruit tree only to discover that the seed was bad? Can you imagine the mentality of planting trees in a seemingly never ending environment of hunger or starvation only to discover all of your efforts was a waste of time and energy as the tree refuses to fruit? So you must plan accordingly. There are some short cuts like cloning. Even in cloning you can have some issues like if you clone a branch which has no history of fruit, low fruit or sour fruit. Then guess what you just cloned and worked hard to grow? So, this is what I'm saying about plants. If you have ornamental plants in your yard. Get rid of them and replant with only natural food bearing plants as soon as you seasonally can. The more people in your family, your friends, your church and your community who has planted food bearing plants, bushes and trees of every the less like declared food shortages will have a severe impact upon the whole of your community.

Animals: You need animals as a continual supply of food resources and you need animals as a food source. How do you raise them? How do you keep them healthy and fed? Especially when all feed stores are long gone. How do you protect them and keep them safe?

----CLOTHING-----

So you have been buying your clothes from those big box stores or from delivery services. Your clothes do not last very long with normal office related normal work loads. So what happens to those big box clothes when you have to start really hard manual labor from dawn to dusk? You get to do all of that work naked.

Asian clothing and shoes will mean you will have both a naked body and naked toes if and when the world systems end. So go forth and spend the big money on American made clothing and foot wear. Do not forget to also buy those smaller waist band sizes as well. This is because after the SHTF happens. Every surviving human is going to lose a lot of weight. So you have to plan ahead. 

Hardy. Work related. Farm related.

---- MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE----

This is sad. How any injury, dental issue and pregnancy can end in death. How preexisting medical conditions will most likely end in death much sooner than later. Which makes you the survivor responsible for the burial or cremation of all dead bodies. So get all of your medical and dental work done before any long duration emergency event. This is something that you have to plan ahead. So you must save your aged mother and insane sibling. This is the right thing to do. I cannot give you any answers. But, your going to have to deal with people who are sick in the most loving, compassionate and merciful way as possible. What happens when the medications runs out. People will die and you will have to contend with the burial of the bodies. Your sibling will revert back to her specifically normal crazy and insane self. How will you contend with her and her genuine insanity? When her medications runs out?

----RETIREMENT OVER AND OTHER FINANCIALS----

Have you even thought those words that your retirement is now over? Have you even considered that you should pull out all of or most of your retirement funds so that you can build an actual safe space for your entire family? Have you thought about selling your vacation, holiday and extra real estate investments so that you can build that safe house compound for your family? Have you thought about moving to that place which you consider to be the safest place? I'm not a financial expert you need to know that financially nothing has ever worked out for me. No matter how I've tried. You need to know I have no opportunity for retirement. I have no assets or own anything of value. I even write what I write knowing that I make nothing. I do understand what I'm telling you and it is for you to do your own due diligence. 

Here is the thing. If you think that the world systems will end in WWIII or if you actually believe in any aspect of Christian prophecies in which they reveal themselves allot. Then you should seriously consider doing what you should do for the physical survivability of your own family members. This is the greater good. Especially, how there no longer seems to be any real retirement solution for young people and that your elder generation of those who are already retired may in fact be the last ones who receive pensions and social security. How many times has the stock markets and economies fallen in the last two decades and how much have you lost and others have lost? So yea, You worked hard to earn what you have now. You deserve your retirement. Joseph in the Holy Bible teaches the lessons we all need to survive hardships in life and still be capable of loving one another. Read about how his brothers tried to kill him and then sold him into slavery. As a slave he was wrongly accused and convicted and then became the number two man in all of Egypt. He was even given an Egyptian name. Joseph then went on to make plans and to save everyone in the land. Even his own family who believed him to be gone forever or dead. Yet, Joseph still loved his family and did what was necessary to save them all. Are you a Joseph? Will you be a Joseph to your own family? Will you make a way for your own family to be capable of surviving even though you will most likely die in any extreme emergency event? Will you decide to sell everything to build a home shelter in those self determined safe places?  So that everyone else will have an opportunity to survive except for you and your spouse? This is really hard to grasp. To know than survival is basically for the young and strong. To know that your getting older and sickly is tough in a so called normal world. But, the bottom line is this. How will the younger souls in your own family survive and build the safe homes that they need to have that opportunity to survive without you and your finances? They probably cannot. So it is up to you to make those preparations for them. Yes, I know it isn't fair and you worked hard your entire life. You deserve your retirement. But, life was not fair for Joseph either and he made it into the Holy Bible as you and I were not written into the Holy Bible. So the unfairness of life in which we all learn from Joseph is for each of us to learn and still be able to do the greater good which is to love one another even though people have harmed us greatly or you may actually have a wonderful family and that is even better.So go forth and do the greater good for your family, your friends, your church community and for your own community.

----SKILL SETS----

Why is skill sets, last and not even listed in the Title? This is the most important aspect of any survival situation. Functional skill sets will be like money after any SHTF event('s). Your noggin cover is supposed to be full of functional skill sets and not be like an empty tool box. So go froth and visit all of your local museums. Try and figure out which skill sets were important to know prior to the industrial revolution. What skill sets were needed in the 1800's, 1700's, 1600's and etc. Learn and obtain actual functional skill sets in those areas of interest. Because, even if you do not have the wealth of today to buy lands and to build a hardy home with bomb shelter all fully stocked with everything you need or want. Your skill sets will be that which is of the most valued. Because, the community which has the most functional of those now considered ancient skill sets will be those communities who are most likely will have the greatest possibility of survival and to transition into a thriving society. Those communities who have the least amount of people with the fewest ancient skill set will most like become simple people who only exist as they wait for death to come to them. So, yes ancient skill sets is that important in the aftermath of any severe SHTF event('s). AND! NO! you cannot learn those things afterwards. You must learn them now and before the SHTF. 

Guess what? Even modern day skill sets will also be applicable afterwards. Because someone might be able to properly save a radio, antennas or other electronics. Some other modern day things, skill sets will also be of use. Which will be coupled together for the greater good of the whole.

Atlas Survival Shelters. You need to know I think this guy is worth a serious look. He is a bit of an oddball and that is OK, but he also seems like he cares and builds a good product line. I do not have any wealth, bank accounts, financial assets, 401K's or any other retirement funding. But, If I had a home or other real estate then I would buy from this guy. But, you need to know if !!YOU!! mess up the placement of a purchased bunker, that is not his fault that your bunker turned into a pool, oven, freezer or all of the above.

Survival Homes And Fallout Shelters: (Unedited): 08-15 Nov 2022:

 

The first thing you must consider is this. This writing and my other survival related writings are not an all encompassing and complete work. What I write is only meant as a starting point for you. The learning curve is long and anything that you do not learn can cause you and your family to die in their sleep or exploded or both. 

What you have is what you have and if you cannot have, engineer, convert or add to then just do the best that you can with what you do have and what you can actually obtain. Take the modular approach and modify what you can one piece or one section at a time. So, yes I'm about to mention some very expensive things. Do not feel bad or consider the impossibility of doing any of the things I'm about to list. Just take what I write as concepts to be modified by you for your own specific situation. Just remember, no gas anything inside of any of your underground living space(s). 

One thing that you may glean from this writing is the addition of more space. Space should be a part of your infrastructure. When you build or expand. You will need to consider how to add at a later date. There is a lot to think about in regards to space.

Before building a survival home. You must have direct access to clean well water via an underground manual and powered water well. Castles were often times built on top of water sources. You may also be required to add expensive filtration and water softening devices. Water storage may also be a consideration as well. You may also want to add other manual and powered water well points to other outlying buildings or structures. All of your water wells must be hidden and secret. Powered water wells make much noise and much vibration. So how will you mitigate the noise and vibration? In which when the powered pump cycles through. Everyone in the house and outside of the house will know it is on. This will be a serious security concern. 

Yes, you can have both city or county utility water and well pump water. Just like you can have both sewage piped to the city or county and have a hidden and secret septic system. The kind of septic system with drain fields which cannot be easily pointed out. Then all you need is your own easily accessible hand valves to shut the city and county utilities off and turn yours on. 

In some cases to do what I suggest may be a crime. I'm not telling you to break any laws here. You break any law by your own free will.

The location of your own growing and evolving survival complex or compound is also a crucial consideration. But, no matter how anyone defines what you build and what you have. You should always consider it your home and not some civilian defined military or militia engineered bullet proof pill box command and control structure so that you can make your plans to take over the world. Insert evil laugh here. This is your home that your building or already have right now. This should be a sign that you are taking full responsibility of taking care of your family, your friends, your church and your community very seriously. Your home must meet your own self defined and well researched criteria. Such as plant growing zones, nearby populations, locations of roads, flooding, fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, nuclear power plants and distance from any suspected nuclear detonation target site as well as every other defined threat and danger which may be posed to you. You also must consider being upwind from any and all nuclear bomb detonation. But, here is the point to survival. What is the actual probability of actually experiencing specific emergency situation? Do you know what those things are? In order of frequency, importance. This is very important. This is because everyone is not wealthy to go just dig into a side of a mountain like Mr. Bezos in order to build his own ultra modern survival home which will survive everything. So you have to prepare for what you can with what you have on hand. So what is the most prevalent threat to you and your family? Then ask yourself how do you mitigate and/or prevent the severity of those common and typical emergencies from negatively impacting your own family, friends, church and community? Then you make those very reasoned decisions and make those very logically engineered additions to your already existing home or you apply them to a new home build. How will you contend with forest fires when your home is made out of match sticks? So, there is a point in which you may just have to consider moving and starting new. So how is that a smart thing when nuclear bombs can fly at any time? How is that a smart thing when a newly created strain of Covid is already said to be able to kill about 80% of the people who get it? How is that smart when food shortages are right around the corner? How is that smart when fuel is about to run out in days and the truckers and trains will not be able to deliver their much needed and life sustaining goods. This very threatening list can go on and on or is all of it directly related to the election cycle of the USA and is all of it fear mongering? The Mississippi is going dry and the Euphrates river as well. Christian prophecy in the extreme here. Is time really that short? Will the fallen angels rise up very soon and begin to kill 1/3 of humanity?

Here is the reason why you need to do what you think is the best thing to do for the safety and well being of your family. There is and always have been threats in life. There is and always have been easy times. In other words there are always good times and bad times. It is how you deal with all of those situations is what makes a difference. As a man, as a husband, as a father, as a grandfather, as an uncle, as a brother. It is your duty to keep your family out of any survival situation and mindset. But, wait, I thought this was all about survival? It is but it is also about having and keeping a good home life where everyone is thriving and not surviving or worse simply existing. Yes, there will be times when you have to survive and the effective plans you make during those easy times will shorten those times when you are forced to survive. Just like Joseph in Egypt. Be like Joseph and take care of your family and it matters not if your brothers tried to kill you and then sold you into slavery. It matter not how unfair life has been to you. Just like Joseph the slave who was imprisoned under a falsehood. And yet, he loved his family, the Egyptians and his owner. Because he loved enough and cared enough that he made organized plans during those times of plenty in order to save everyone when the famines came. This is Biblical. This also dose not matter what you know about prophecy and the rapture. Doing nothing and waiting helplessly for the rapture is unwise and very well may be a false teaching. We do not really know for certain.  While I no longer debate those things and have come to the conclusion that God is gonna do what God is gonna do. God does not need for me to know, to understand or is waiting to give my permission for anything. This also includes the concept of the rapture and no I'm not a rapture denier. I have studied all of the variants and have come to the conclusion that we lowly humans just do not know and will not know until the rapture happens and I for one will be greatly thankful. 

So, until the rapture happens or not happen. In which I really hope it does before rather than during or after. You are still responsible for your family, your friends, your church and your community. Sorry, but this is the cold hard truth. Especially, if your a manly man type of a man. So what do you do now? What can you do now? How do you do it all? Sometimes you have to have a community. Actually, you need to have a community of like minded people. You should not go it alone as that means you will most likely die alone. The law of the animal kingdom.

--------?BEST STRUCTURE?--------

The one piece and solid concrete monolithic Dome Home Structure. This is the best type of home structure that I have found which can survive most emergencies. This is something you should research and consider for yourself. This monolithic dome structure can also be buried underground. These monolithic domes are also ultra efficient. This can be something that you can build and either add it to your already built home or build as a new home. So here is the basic idea of a build. At the lowest level you should have space for a substantial root cellar which should be in close proximity to your kitchen via a dumb waiter. At this underground level you can have a manual and powered pump well system with all of the filtration needs and water softening needs. Bare in mind water issues fill the bottom first and rise up. So how will you remove water from your lowest levels? Bare in mind that water softening bags of salt weigh 50 pounds each and how far will you have to take those bags and how many stairs do you have to climb down? Think about the old coal shoots in the old days. But, exposed coal shoots are also finger pointers to something else unseen or unknown or typically known to have back in those ancient days. This is an easily observable security risk.

The next underground level can be a basement along with a tunneling system with the necessary 90 degree turns at every entry way. This tunnel can lead to an actual bunker which is a reasonable distance away from the actual home. You also need to plan for a variety of emergency exits as well. Not just one emergency exit. All emergency exits must be hidden and kept secret. The entry way access must also be hidden, secret and out of the way. You can also consider building your bunker system at the same level as your root cellar. Be sure to think about water table levels for each season. You do not want any manner of water intrusion to any degree.

So, why does an underground bunker system need to be a reasonable distance away from the primary and very visible home residence? This is because of wars, battles and any other conflicts. If the friendly soldiers must use your home as a base and their reasoning is very necessary. Then the enemy soldiers will bomb your home. If the enemy soldiers use your home as a base then the friendly soldiers will bomb your home. This is historical evidence throughout human history of warfare. No matter, it is the civilians who lose, who are abused, who are tortured and who are killed. It is the civilians who are displaced and must travel in some direction that they think leads to some kind of hopeful safe place. Many may make and many do not as the civilians will most likely starve and die or die in the heat or freeze to death. 

The roof of your underground structure must be well below the thermal lines of freezing and of heat. Because, if your roof is in the heat then your bunker turns into an oven. If your roof is in the frozen ice line. Then your bunker turns into a freezer. In other words a very expensive and unlivable environment. 

You must also contend with the water tables for every season and every year. This is because water tables rise and fall. If the floor of your underground bunker and basement systems floods how useful will it be especially when rust, mold and mildew begins to grow as well as damage to the structure? Then you cannot forget about the flood waters. In which you have to plan perfectly and mitigate every possibility that ground water cannot get into your basement and bunker? This will be total ruination of all of it.

You need to be able to breathe clean fresh air. While at the same time exhausting old used air. While at the same time having a positive air pressure inside. That is a lot of air head thinking. But, you must consider those three points as a positive air pressure will help to keep the bad parts of NBC out of your living space. NBC is Nuclear, Biological and Chemical weapons. You should not use any breathing and air equipment that is not Swiss or Israeli made. If you cannot afford these things. Then be sure to engineer a space for them during the engineering phase of your building project. This is really a tough thing. Because a human cannot survive without breathable air for about three minutes. When you are physically active. Less than 3 minutes. In some case you may pass out within seconds. Clean fresh breathable air is that serious. You also need to know. That there is serious math with this. That if you exceed occupancy of your underground bunker by one person. Then all of you can suffocate and die. That might be a little extreme, but you need to be serious about the movement of air in all parts and around every corner and in every room of your underground bunker. Just because you have an incoming pipe over here and then an exhausting air pipe on top of the bathroom. The air pipe must be of sufficient diameter. Have you ever tried to breathe through a straw while running? This may seem funny until you realize that you cannot breathe with any sort of small tubes or pipes. Ask someone how well they can breathe when they cannot get any air into their lungs. This is very serious as I state it yet again. Some other rooms or spaces may not have fresh air and actually may fill up with carbon dioxide and other not healthy to humans gasses. You have to plan and pipe in clean air to every space, room and tunnel. Then you have to be mindful of air tight doors. Then you have to know what kind of air is on both sides of those air tight doors. Then you have to make sure your incoming air pipes and out gassing air pipes are not close together. There is a minimal distance for these two air pipes. That means more math to know. Because, if you open a door, will bad air or bad human gasses and NBC come flooding into your clean and healthy living space? Really, how do you know? How will you know? Instant death can happen to everyone or anyone. Please do not get all paranoid and fearful of this writing about air. You really need to take this serious. Research air quality meters for caves and other tight and sealed off spaces. You need to know the quality of air inside your underground bunker as well as the quality of air outside of your bunker. To some degree an out door weather station can be helpful. A remote operated radiation monitor is really expensive. How would you measure O2 levels inside and outside?

------WATER-----------------

You need clean drinking water from any good source. A healthy person may not survive longer than three days without clean drinking water. Your water sources should only be accessible from within your home. Your water source should be a secret and well hidden. You must mitigate and manage all noises and vibrations. You may need to include filtration systems as well as water softening. Then you need to stock up on new and sealed water filters. You will need to stock up on fifty pound bags of water softening salt. You have to make space for all of those things as well. 

You can also have a connection to a city or county water supply. Which can be easily turned off by you. When the need arises as you define it. 

You also can include city and county sewage lines. This is usually connected with the city or county water supply. But, you will also need your own septic system and this system must be engineered for more people than what you think you will need. Use the number of three-five times more capacity for your septic build and drain fields. 

You see in normal days. Having city or county water and sewage is extremely very convenient. Then when for some reason the city or county stops working. You have a back up system already ready for use. 

-----FOOD-----------------

So a healthy and physical fit person can starve to death in about thirty days. The use of clean drinking water can stave off starvation by a few more weeks. But mental alertness and physical energy levels will be greatly reduced. So you must plan for a rather large root cellar which can maintain the coldest possible temperatures. The colder the temperature the long the shelf life. The more constant the cold temperature the more stable the shelf life.

You should also have a multifaceted or multi purpose green house. You must design the green house to be as energy efficient as possible. There are some interesting designs from around the world. There is even an old guy who grows citrus trees in Nebraska. Your green house must be able to store seeds and be able to germinate seeds. You have to be able to grow those seeds into adult hood. Then you need a method to recover all seeds and to safely store them. Then you must properly organize all seeds in a paper ledger. All of the plants, seeds and foods that you grow must be heirloom, antique, natural and wild. You cannot use any hybrid or GMO seeds or plants of any kind. As a matter of fact you must burn those down. 

The plants, bushes and shrubs that you have right now. Should all be food bearing in some way. All of your ornamental trees, bushes, plants and shrubs that you have should be removed in their proper season and replaced with food bearing or directly resource related wood products. Remember any tree which is used as any kind of resource. You must replant with ten resource trees. Which means you have to plan ahead and actually have replacement trees on hand to plant. 

So how much food will you need for an emergency? You may not be aware of this. But those people and families which get snowed in for many months at a time. How much food and other supplies do you think they have stored up? How much fire wood by cord do you think they already have on hand? So planning your life around the seasons is paramount to survival. Because, when Your snowed in. You cannot just go to the grocery store to buy groceries or to the restaurant and eat out. Being snowed in means you cannot leave your home. Then if you experience ice storms. You may go without any electricity for many months at a time. 

Just before you begin to plant food bearing plants, bushes and trees. You need to have a plan for harvesting as close to every month of the year as possible. You need to be able to properly and safely can your own foods for the long term. You will also need to keep all of your foods as continually cool or cold for as long as possible. Continuous temperature control is critical. Because, in a worse case situation. Food poisoning will kill a person.

------ELECTRICITY-----

This one part is hugely expensive and can be engineered to be expandable. Having multiple sources of electricity generation as well as a direct connection to the electrical grid should be preferred. In some states and in some nations you may be able to make a small income or at the very least diminish your electrical costs. It would be best to research off grid living. The amount of space required can be substantial. If you're trying to keep your physical location secret. The addition of solar panels, wind turbines, water stream generators and natural gas generators. Will point the way to your home and shelters with easy observation, sounds and vibrations.

-------MEDICAL AND DENTAL----

When the worse thing does happen. All aspects of modern day medical care and dental care will cease. All access to all forms of medications and vitamins will cease. So you will be required to have space to be able to do your own medical and dental procedures. You will also need to plan for space to properly hold the equipment and supplies.

-------CLOTHING-----

So do you want to be naked and have bare feet? You have to plan on having very hardy clothing and shoes/boots. Which means at the very first thing is to only buy quality goods. Which also means do not buy anything which is made in China(PRC). Think about clothing which is specifically made for the construction worker, farmer, cowboy types, or any other outside person. 

In a worse case scenario or a SHTF. You have to have clothing and footwear which will last a very long time under very harsh conditions. You have to plan for substantial weight loss as well as extra storage to hold extra clothing and footwear. 

In all aspects of survival and not just in clothing and footwear. You have to have the mindset of cradle to grave in everything that will be required. (humor)In regards to clothing, how will you raise cotton and grow wool? Do you know how to spin those raw materials into usable items? What about those necessary tools like human powered sewing machines and looms. How do you shear sheep with no electricity? You have to plan for space to work each machine and to store all of the necessary equipment for each machine. This leads to storing seeds and growing cotton. How much cotton can you grow for your family, friends, church and community. Because, when the worse thing happens, guess what dude or is that dude-et, you suddenly become responsible for everyone clothing and footwear. How do you even make your own clothing and footwear? Do you have the materials?  

-------WORK SHOP AND STORAGE------

Storage and work shop space for hand powered tools and equipment. 

So how much storage space will you need to hold hay for all of your animals? Where will you position a work shop in association to your home, shelter and other outlying buildings? Will your work shop space have direct access to the outside. Will you be able to drive vehicles inside or build wooden carriages or build and repair bicycles? Your storage spaces should be individually and purposefully planned spaces.

-----OUTLYING BUILDINGS---------

You will also need to build barns, green houses, electrical houses and maybe even other specific to you houses for your own specific needs. Some uses can be combined into one. Such as an electrical house and a water generator system because you have a free flowing year around stream. You just have to manage water issues and flooding. 

You will need property space for an evolving solar panel set up. Solar panels are very visible and will point to your home as a safe place with electricity. Your electrical room should be zero distance from your home. Ample space must be made for the electrical room as well as removing of heat generated within the electrical room. You must also add additional space for modifications, additions and air conditioning. Cool dry air is better than moist hot air. 

------SERVER ROOM-------------------------

Server and Computer rooms which will deliver the internet as it still functions throughout your home. These servers and computers very much like cool dry air and about 50 degrees F. When air is cool and dry. That means static electricity goes up and can become a more severe threat. Your servers must have substantial hard drive back ups and storage capabilities. This is necessary especially, if the worse thing happens and you will require everyone to remain underground for a year or more.  It is very advisable to run high capacity Ethernet cable instead of WiFi as WiFi in any kind of confined space or metallic space will or can cause RF radiation damage to your brains. This also includes Bluetooth devices. This also includes all radio transmitters as well. Yea, so do not use blue tooth devices and use only corded cables with your head phones. You must limit all RF radiation within the confines of your bunker and home. 

Your server and computer rooms must also have their own back up equipment and all of these must be shielded from all EMP's static electricity and RF DEW energies. The how to protect from RF DEW is a best guess situation. The only thing I can think of is the use of static bags, old microwave ovens and Faraday cages all combined to be used for one piece of equipment and all equipment. So yes, your server or technology room should be a shielded Faraday Cage. Your server or technology room should be large enough to store all high tech gear, test equipment and have a work space. 

The heat generated within the server or technology room can be moved to other areas for more comfortable uses.

-----FARADAY CAGES-------

That is until EMPs and RF DEW(Radio Frequency Directed Energy Weapons) are in use in your area. Even though you may have paid for EMP protection. There is no telling how many EMP's that protection system will protect you from. Then there is the RF DEW's which is brand new. There is no telling how these will affect any piece of equipment or even human flesh, especially brain matter. You will just have to plan the best that you can. 

Inside of your home base you must engineer EMP safe rooms and have on hand EMP boxes called Faraday Cages. Yes, You can build your entire home into a Faraday cage. But, think about the layers of Faraday Cages, Faraday rooms and Faraday homes. This is assuming you have tons of money. Think about also having on hand a variety of anti static bags in various of sizes. Think about also having on hand old microwave ovens. Also, have much aluminum tape to cover up any holes and to further seal Faraday Boxes and old not working large microwave ovens. You need to know that anytime any piece of electrical equipment which is exposed during any EMP or RF DEW event. That piece of equipment becomes irreparable. It does not matter if the batteries were installed or not. It does not matter if the unit is turned on or not. There will not be any reset switches. It does not matter if the unit is new and still in its own original packaging or sealed box. You need to know that there will not just be one EMP event or one use of RF DEW. There will be many and at many times in what appears to be random events. But, EMP and RF DEW uses should be considered a prelude to actual attacks. Unless, They also happen after the attack. In which the enemy hopes that someone left an important door or window open to allow the energies to gain entry and destroy any and all exposed technology. 

-----EXERCISE ROOM-----

So if you are one of the meek as identified in the Holy Bible. You may be required to remain secretly hidden underground for a year or longer. Which mean dependent on the season when the modern day world ends. You will need to stay hidden until the beginning of spring. Knowing this, how will you remain physically fit? How will you remain physically healthy? A part of your daily routine will be exercising on a daily basis. This will be very important and will be a part of remaining sane. Because once you open the doors to the outside for the first time. You will most likely be required to work from dawn to dusk.

In order to keep your mind active. The reading of books from within your own library space will be necessary part of keeping sane. If your one of the chosen meek as identified in the Holy Bible. You need to have all of the necessary books which will directly aid you in keeping your connection with God.

-----ENTERTAINMENT ROOM----

Fun time is also necessary time in order to remain sane. So do create a space for entertainment value as well as the creation of good memories.

-----WEAPONS ROOM----

Guns, Guns and more guns. Not necessary so. Bow and arrows will most likely become preferred distance weapons. Knives and swords will most likely become preferred close quarters combat weapons. The most important thing to consider is not just the gun or bow or any bladed weapon. The important things to consider is how to reload the guns? resupply the arrows? and make your own blades? How do you make gun powder? How do you make arrows? Do you even know what kinds of trees will make the best arrows or bows? Where do you get copper and lead for bullets and how do you form them into properly sized bullets? Do you or will you also make the tools and necessary equipment to create from nothing into something? Will you even have the necessary functional skill sets? If your one of the meek how will you even be able to have any kind of weapons room? Then who properly defines the necessity of a weapons rooms if your one of the chosen meek?

--------Animal Management----

You will also need space in order to clean and render all of your animals. You will also need to have the ability to clean that space when completed. How will you manage certain wild animals and not allow those wild animals go to waste. Because, there is an indication in the holy Bible that you will account for all of the blood that you spill. Even if it is a small animal. 

------SUMMaRY------

You probably have figured it out. You need a lot of space. You need space that has been properly planned out and engineered. This is an indication of the need for community as one person or one family cannot do it all. But, you can have an important roll within any established community by having functional skill sets which will not only benefit you and your family, but also your church and your community. Everyone must work together. Everyone who works together survives together. Especially, when the meek emerges last. 

Individually some things can be done for the benefit of the whole. Like the planting of food bearing trees, plants, bushes and shrubs. You plant them everywhere you can. While knowing it can take years for these to bear their own fruits within your specific growing region.

The planting of wild and self sustaining vegetables. You plant these things everywhere you can and let them grow on their own. For instance garlic's and onion's and many other's. 

The most important part of growing food bearing plants is that you can hasten the fruiting through processes like cloning and grafting. Then you give these new already fruit bearing plants to everyone within your family, friends, church and community. Then when food shortages do happen. They will be minimized. 

The idea of generating your own energy is now important as the politicians and media point their own dirty and corrupted dirty fingers to blame Putin about all of their energy woes. When it was they who made all of these energy shortages happen. 

In summary, You have figured out that it is you and it has always been you who is responsible for yourself and your family. You have figured out that it is not wise to entrust any political organization or any other group to save you and your family. You, your family, your friends, your church and your community are the only ones who you can trust. Anyone else who is on the outside cannot be trusted and your only faith shall only be given to God alone.

Many people think you can choose a survival location. This to some degree you can do but often times it is the survival situation which picks the location. You never hear about the person who has been rescued or found dead say they wanted to go into this beautifully dangerous location to become lost, injured, eaten alive or just dead. So you say the dead do not speak? This can be considered humor until you think about it or discuss it with an investigator of some kind. No one says they choose a survival location in order to starve to death, freeze to death or die of thirst. No one says they went into a dangerous situation so that they can eat a poisonous food and die from horrific pains and suffering. So you really need to consider all of the survival variables in every location. Like the wonderful place that Florida is until you decide to swim in that lake which looks safe until a gator takes you for an underwater roll, Until you go through the woods and find a very loving and just wants a hug constrictor snake and etc. When you start thinking about a safe place or any safe location. You will discover that there is actually no true or real safe place on this planet. Every place and every location has it's own very unique dangers and threats. All of those various dangers must be mitigated and/or prevented from happening if that is possible. How do you prevent earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, drought, floods, raging fires, volcanoes and etc? You cannot prevent these things, you can only mitigate the event(s).  So you have to effectively plan and engineer a safe place within any dangerous environment. But, what about WWIII or WWIV? What about a single nuclear bomb or EMP attack from a rogue nation? What about the actual odds of encountering any kind of threat which must be survived? Do you know which threat is the most likely to occur in your own chosen location? Are those threats seasonal or yearly or do they occur many times in a year? Are man made threats seen on the horizon like war and military invasion? What about food shortages? What about run away inflation as that is in Christian prophecy? What about the so called planned financial global reset? How are you going to survive these listed issues and more? Do you have a plan and have you implemented those plans? How much debt do you have? You should have zero debt with zero intention of accumulating any more debt. So how, if you have to use debt how will you use it to favor you? Especially, when world leaders profess that you will own nothing and be happy. These may seem funny but they are actually threatening to any free person. You need to have it in your mind that when you hear anything threatening to your own self chosen way of life. That threat and all threats must have it's own unique survival plan. So what will you do and how will you do it?

Do you get it now? Every location on this planet is dangerous and requires some degree of survival. How do you think about this? I do not like Earthquakes they wig me out. So I live in a region which is not known to have earthquakes but has the threat of hurricanes. Hurricanes I can mentally handle. Hurricanes mean you go north until you can go west. So, what natural events causes you the most mental distress? The easy answer is not to live in that region where there is a probable occurrence of that threat happening that you would rather not contend with. If you live in a forest or want to live in a forest. Do not build your home out of wood sticks or do not live in the forest. If getting eaten alive by wild animals causes you great concern. Then do not live in the wild. But, wait. Some things you will just have to emotionally and physically manage. Just like what the early Californians did to the bear which is on their state flag. You either kill them or get eaten alive. The early Californians killed those bears. Just as those who survive or live out in the wild may be forced to kill aggressive predators. It is unfortunate but very necessary. Please note that I did not mention specifically to go hunting for predators or to kill all predators. Oh but what about the little piggies? Well, they have become a huge threat and are called wild boars and they will attack you and eat you. So there is a responsibility to mange the numbers of certain animals. The wild boar can be put into your freezer for safe keeping or be given to family and friends. Survival does mean you may have to kill to remain alive. Survival does mean you may have to kill in order to protect your family, friends and neighbors. You need to know that all blood spilled by you should be honored and respected. In Christian Prophecy, The return of the nephilim or fallen angels or aliens kill 1/3 of all humans. The nephilim do eat people/humans. Guess what? Your little ole .223 and 7.62 guns will feel to them like you being shot by BB's. Humans do not have big enough bullets that they can safely and effectively shoot against them when they prophetically return. Your best bet is to run and hide. Hide? Run? You cannot out run these beings and if you had not already made a hiding spot. Then you die along with your loved ones that you were supposed to be responsible for. Yea, That is a man thing. It is the duty of all Males or Men types to protect and keep safe their wife and children as well as their elders and their neighbors. So Yea, A man is responsible for everyone in their presence and not in their immediate presence. This is where the reality of being a man really sucks. Oh but, wait you say why?, I have never heard such things before? Well, this has to do with honor and being righteous. This is about being a good human being. This is about loving one another. This is about actually caring for others. This is not about being self serving. This is not about going it alone as you will most likely die alone. This is the law of the animal kingdom. So think about building your own safe place with entrances to small for a standard nephilim to enter. Think about those unique cave dwellings in Cappadocia, Turkey. Was there function behind this? Was their protection and from what? Can you imagine fighting hand to hand at every turn in those caves? How were those people who lived in them protected from weather events and earthquakes? Would they have been protected from those evil man eating giants? But, just so you know there are those smaller beings which do seem to have 3-5+ times more physical strength than an athletically fit human(No further comment). So how will you plan for this future event? And what about any other prophetic future event as listed in the Holy Bible?

So, in order to fight these beings which will prophetically come according to the Holy Bible. Attrition damage must always be planned. Not just one form of attrition level of damage. But many, all at once and then repeat until the threat retreats or is immobilized, then kill it. Attack the Ankles, eyes, ears, knees, elbows, feet, hands and etc. Also, some of them may be mentally powerful. So prior to killing them mentally sing silly fun songs so as not to become the focus of their attention. This is to mentally mask your intentions, thoughts, plans and to confuse their minds as to your location and immediate threat level to them. You can also think about sports, drama and any other non related issue which has nothing to do with what is occurring at the moment. These must be soft and quiet thoughts. These thoughts should not be forced or effort-ed. They will know the difference. They will know what is natural and what is not. These beings are very intelligent should not be underestimated.

You need to understand there are historical oral stories told about these creatures. They have the strength, power and speed to carry a North American Bison/Buffalo. These beings have the power to hold a lion with it's angry claws out and not be harmed or feel threatened by the lion. So these beings will be able to rip your house apart to get at you. These beings will be able to rip your car open to get at you. Scared Yet? Or are you laughing at the silliness of this writing? It matters not. Remember the masking tactic.

You Operators and Special Forces types. It matters not what country you belong too or what flag you worship. You will be the first ones to fight these beings and die, when and if they return. So Don't die. You must remember the masking during any planned engagement. You must mentally mask prior to any departure for the mission. This must be planned out only by you guys before hand and before reality changes. You can sucker them and con them as well. This action will most likely end in a sacrifice of one or many of you. Remember big bullets at distance. How do Americans take out an enemy sniper in the mountain? Blow up the mountain. Feel free to use your choice of expletives. My intention is to save your lives no matter what flag you have sworn allegiance too. Think about this. When you are missioned to contend with these beings. You are no longer that sworn nationalized heroic human warrior to your nation. You are now saving all humans on this planet. 1/3 of humanity will die because you fail. I'm not sorry to put this weight on You but your the only ones who are strong enough to carry this weight. So between now and then. Go forth and make silly games and fun exercises on how to contend with them. Even in silly stories and unrealistic words does plans become formed. No matter how improbable they seem to be in the reality of today and right now. Do not close the gap and do not engage in hand to hand combat. Even if they look small by human size standards. Shoot them repeatedly and often.

Your very first choice for a location should be access to clean drinking water from a ground source. This is so that you can install both a manual well pump and and powered pumping system from your basement or other underground structures. 

You should choose a location based on what typical emergency situations and threats are prevalent in that region. Meaning death by wild animals, tornadoes, forest fires, hurricanes, Earthquakes, droughts, ice, snow, floods, illegal humans and etc. If you cannot tolerate earthquakes then do not go to that region. If the fear of a super volcano makes you nervous all of the time. Then do not choose that massive region to locate to. If you cannot tolerate the cold, then go south. If you cannot tolerate the heat, then go north. You should feel comfortable and safe in the location you choose. While knowing there is no safe place to live on this planet.

You should be far away and upwind from all nuclear bomb target sites as well as nuclear power plants.

You should be far away from all major roads and rail lines. 

You should be located near a town with a population no greater than about 5,000 humans. 

You should choose a place where you can grow foods and have typically year round available clean drinking water to grow foods. 

You will need ample physical space to keep all necessary equipment covered and out of the elements, weather changes, seasonal changes. Even if you do not have the equipment right now. You still have to plan for that equipment. 

You should consider power generation and the required space for that equipment.

You should consider visible sky access for Starlink or other related services from orbit. 

The lifestyle of off grid living is a worthy concept to learn. The learning curve is pretty long. You will need enough land for each large animal in order to provide enough grasses to feed them year round. In Florida the needed land required per large animal is considered low but the costs are substantial. While the land needed in other places are allot of acreage per large animal and even though land costs are lower. The cost can still be similar to owning fewer acres in other areas. Owning lots of acres mean more management time of the land. You have to do the math.You have to know what your capable of and your skill levels. It is better to have more land than what is required per animal especially if your animal skills are low. Then as you learn how to care for few then maybe you can care for many. You will also be responsible for the safety and security of each animal. Animal care is a daily relationship with each animal. There is no vacations or holidays. Predator animals will creep through the night thus preventing a good night sleep as your animals cry out into the darkness. A properly sighted in Night vision scope on a rifle might be good to have. Lets talk about guns now.

Guns laws is an important consideration. Yes, when your out in the wild and there are few humans around. You need guns and yes you need to have a lot of bullets. Shooting at many feral hogs is nerve racking which means hitting targets which are coming at you fast to eat you alive means you will need lots of bullets to take those rushing targets down before your eaten alive. That is just one predator mentioned. You have to consider all of the other typical predators for your chosen region as well. So yea, An AR type of weapon is nice to have when you know your about to be eaten alive. Do you get the point here?

Home schooling laws are also important. When you live far away. You will be responsible for teaching your children your lifestyle skill sets as well as modern day skill sets. You will also be required to meet the educational minimum standards for your children. The laws in each state or country will be different. yes, keep records for every single year and yes, secure a lawyer just in case. 

Can you capture rain water for use or is that against the law. Things you need to know. 

How will you earn money to pay for property taxes, utilities and equipment. How will you pay for parts for equipment which requires service, maintenance and repairs. The business of off grid living can be prohibitively expensive. You may even need to rent construction equipment to make property enhancements and will what you do be illegal? So you will have to earn monies. That regard is about to change when Starlink becomes dependable and available. The idea of remote employment is on the rise and knowing those required modern day skill sets will enable many people to be able to live far out in remote regions and far away from cell service.

Survival Skill Sets: (Unedited): 04 Nov 2022:

The idea of having a skill or a set of skills is likened to what kind of tools are in your own physical tool box or sewing kit or fishing tackle box or any other container with very useful items that you consider important to any particular skill.

In this modern era of technological development everyone should have those necessary functional skill sets which enables each person to live a thriving lifestyle. One should not merely survive in any kind of economic, social, professional or any other kind of environment. So to point out there are at least three basic life styles that most people can achieve. These are existing, survival and thriving. 

First is being dead. Yea, dead is not on the list and yet we all will achieve death, but how? Dead means your dead and this also means that there is no one to protect any of your loved ones, or any of the young souls who are directly connected to you and whom you are responsible for. 

The worst listed here is existing as you are just waiting to be saved or waiting for death. In which being saved is most likely not even a remote possibility. Because, the bottom line is when you're at the bottom of whatever life brings you, that eventually you are the one who must be your own hero and save yourself. If for whatever reason you have just given up, then you sit and wait for death to come. This is simple existence.  

The next step above existence is survival. Survival is not fun and nor is it an extended camping trip. Survival is not some fun adventure. Survival on the other hand is a continual fight to stay alive everyday. Survival is not dying today or next week or the next season. Survival is hard work each and everyday. Survival is working hard from dawn to dusk each and every day. Survival is not fair. The laws of the animal kingdom governs survival. In which humans are not physically equipped to contend with any large predator animal or groups of predatory animals that want to eat you alive. Survival sucks.

The best place to be is hopefully how you are living right now and that is in a thriving lifestyle. This is where you do not have to worry about dying or becoming injured at every point of your daily routine. Because, in a surviving lifestyle an injury will most likely mean you will die sooner rather than later. So you are living in a thriving lifestyle. This means you are in that place in life where you can basically do whatever you desire so as long as you do not cause any other soul any degree of sadness, harm or suffering. But, since we are all deeply flawed human beings we, me and you the reader do, do our best not to cause anyone any bad and sad feelings to any person. (Personal Note: Yea, I'm working on that part of my own humanity). In this thriving lifestyle it is easy to forget that in this modern world you can forget about any degree of survival as humans in the western world have easy access to nice homes/shelters, easy to obtain clean water and other drinking fluids, easy to obtain foods of any kind, medical care, education at any self desired level, myriad forms of entertainment, A/C and Heat, Clothing and shoes of all kinds, and this list goes on forever like easy access to chocolate and ice cream. 

The excess lifestyle is not listed. You have worked hard and long. You have gained everything you have ever dreamed of into the realm of excesses. A lot of people have a lot of very expensive toys. Do not get me wrong I'm not bad mouthing you or this lifestyle of excess. Go forth and live the life of your dreams. While at the same time not taking any of it for granted and without any gratitude.

No matter what defined kind of life you are living right now. You already know and understand that in life there are good times and there are bad times. Some of these times are better good times and some of the bad times are much worse. So in wisdom and in self responsibility one should always plan for the worst of times while living in the best of your own self defined times. One plan should not take away for the other. It is all apart of life and we all live through it all the best way we all can. Yes???!!!

All of this evolves into your own community and the development of certain functional skill sets which transitions of effective use from the simple existing lifestyle all the way to the thriving lifestyle. If you are living in excess you still need functional skill sets and most likely already have them unless you did not learn any functional skill sets as all of your lifestyle of excess is from someone else. Then you can easily make that leap from excess all the way down to just simply existing rather easily and quickly. Regardless if there is a national emergency or some other global catastrophe. You would not be aware and you would probably not be reading this at all as you continually partake in a variety of mind altering excesses. But, this and these writings is for those family leaders and community leaders. It matters not if you think yourself one or not. You just know that you should be doing something and this may be the urging from the Holy Spirit. You may also know that you have to move or have some uncertain desire to move. These urging's can be rather tough as you may have generational relationships in your own city or town. This is a tough call. But, you have to consider where those urging's are coming from. Is it God wanting you to become a remnant of survival or is it the enemy predators trying to separate you from your family and community? Think about it. How does animals get eaten alive by the predators who are always stalking? They all get separated and isolated. They get confused and lost. They are either old or sickly. They are young and dumb. This you have to think about. Are you really supposed to move away or is so evil outside force wanting you to move away and alone to be devoured by all of the evils in the world? These things you have to fight with within the confines of your own mind. You need to know that there is a very false teaching within the survival community and that is "To go it alone". This is a severe falsehood as the evil in the world and all of the predators in the world strongly want for you to go it alone. For you to go it alone makes you an easy meal. Really. I'm talking about all of the evils and false truths here and not just the one I mentioned. We are all surrounded by false truths that we are all expected to believe as truths. While the good truths to have a genuine good life are believed and taught to people as falsehoods. You also need to know that all humans are continual and never ending targets to all of the evil that exists. It matters not if you're in perpetual survival mode in some poor hood or living an excessive lifestyle on some yacht or private plane living a life of perpetual vacation and holiday. It matters not what station in life that you live. You are a perpetual target to all that is evil and you already most likely know this.

The community which has the most people with the most functional skill sets will most likely live to see another day, another week, another month and another season. The community which has the most teachers who can teach the most functional skill sets to everyone and anyone will most likely be the community which survive to see the next season of leadership from their young ones. 

Functional skill sets must be learned prior to any emergency event. You and your community must have already acquired all necessary associated manual or human powered tools and equipment. All plans and building projects must have already been completed prior to any emergency event. An emergency event in any extreme weather event or any other natural emergency event or even any human created emergency event. 

So when the leaders of the world tell all of the people that there will be food shortages, How are you preparing for those events? How many ornamental plants have been removed and replaced with food bearing trees, plants and bushes? Have each of you within the community become like Joseph in Egypt? So when a leader tells the people that you will own nothing and be happy. How are you planning for this if it is to be a reality? If the economists tell everyone of a great financial reset how are each of you planning for this occurrence? Assuming these are to be coming realities or some other kind of fear mongering. How are you and your community going to bring forth effective answers for any unfortunate eventuality? This is all in the skill sets and those things required as associated with skill sets. Functional skill sets is what is necessary for survival while not forgetting the most important tool is in the training and conditioning of your own mind and the minds within the community. There is a fundamental reason why firemen run into the fire when everyone else flees. There is a reason why an American soldier runs towards the enemy as civilians flee. There is a reason why the police go towards the bad people while innocent souls cry in desperation. Well, some souls may not be so innocent. But, no matter. You get this point.

So here we are? What skill sets are required for everyday life no matter if life is good or bad? Or goes from bad to good. In my life where I had almost nothing and no one in my younger life. It has been very difficult to live a good life and I still struggle everyday. Not being able to properly socialize with people in what you would call normal occurrences. While at the same time knowing that I can survive on my own rather well. Well, That may be an exaggeration now as I'm older and not very healthy. I have found it very difficult to live a normal life or what I think a normal life should be. Though not being able to keep jobs very long has not been good for my family. But, this also goes back to not receiving an education in my youth either. But, you do have to have a caring family, environment and community to want to have a desired level of education. I think now I have left most of those jobs because of my inability to make and keep friendships. This fear tends to drive me away and I do just walk away and disappear from their lives. If those good people whom I have walked away from see me as the unforgivable bad man. Then I have become OK with that. But, do you get the reversal of situations. I do not have the skill sets to survive in a normal socialized climate and being older. I do not really seek them out any longer either. But, you should understand what I fully mean about all of the necessary skill sets. Some skill sets will require hand tools and physical equipment while others are those skill sets in which I severely lack from. But, in a survival situation psychological observations is necessary for survival at every single step of any interaction with any outsider. Because, a spy can be a precursor to an invasion. In the extreme, in which the people of Ukraine have experienced. The people of Ukraine have killed many spies and Russian troops in a variety of unique methods. But, most emergency events in which skill sets must be developed will be because of extreme weather events. Think about it. You have a tornado or a hurricane. The insurance companies will want monies as high as tens of thousands of dollars to remove a tree. I've seen it happen. I have also seen where the insurance person tell his client that they will take care of everything and then cut two feet of tree branches away from the house while leaving the rest of the tree. That is your good hands people for you. So, what is the importance of a functional chain saw skill set on top of with knowledge on how to safely clear out a fallen tree? Isn't this an aspect of survival when others outside of your community fail? This is just at least two functional skill sets. In southern communities when something happens in which some kind of extreme need arises within the community or a family. The old ladies would show up with all manner of foods and southern sweet tea. How do they even do that and all of a sudden have fried chicken in which you had better eat it or become threatened. Yea, I have direct experience in that regard, so in fear I ate and was thankful because I was told to be thankful and I was. So do not discredit other aspects of survival in regards to sweet tea and fried chicken. Those are apparently crucially important functional skill sets as well. And how do the old ladies instantly bring home-made pound cakes and other yummy bakery items? Some kind of magic I think(humor). That my friend is a functional skill set. Sometimes I still forget which fork and not your fingers to use when properly eating. Those proper eating classes I had while in foster care was a long time ago.

So this is it. The place where you consider what skill sets you will master.You will need two eras of functional skill sets. These are from the preindustrial era and in this modern day. You need to be able to thrive in this modern world while at the same time planning for the worst event which ends everything in the modern world. But, if any other lesser emergency event happens. You will be prepared and your family safe. Then since your family is safe. You can go out into the world and be a positive blessing to those who are in desperate need. This is what Christians are supposed to do en-masse and used to do.

If your one of the poor people who cannot afford the huge expense of properly preparing for the safety and well being of your family in certain emergency situations. Then if you are young, alcohol and drug free, healthy and physically fit. Then those like minded communities may need a person just like you. Especially, if you have a variety of ancient preindustrial era skill sets as well as modern day skill sets which keeps you positively employed. You will also need to have their same belief and faith systems.

So what are those ancient preindustrial skill sets? Go and look around your local museums.

So what are those modern day skill sets? Working remotely especially during this new era where the internet will be everywhere including in the rural communities. Thanks to Elon Musk and Starlink. Once Starlink is fully up and running remote employment will be the most beneficial in rural communities. These will be the places where survival communities will be located. Of course none of those communities will use the word survival to describe themselves. What skill sets will be required for remote employment opportunities? I have no idea. You get to research those things and obtain those functional skill sets. 

So in this modern world when you have those needed skill sets. Then you, your family and your community will be able to thrive. When you have those preindustrial skill sets then when and if a severe emergency occurs. You will be able to step in when all modern day technology has stop working, died and is non-repairable. This means that you, your family and your community will be able to survive and then maybe once again begin to live in a thriving environment. A thriving safe environment of your own recreation.
