The adventure is usually absent of the safety net. Real genuine harm can manifest. Proper preparation is necessary before taking any journey. One can say the actual battles fought in any war was an adventure. Just as those who go out and assist those in genuine need is an adventure. Harm can come to you either way. On the surface One is more obvious than the other. Even if you are a lawyer or just a stay at home house wife. Did I just compare a lawyer to a house wife? Bad John Bad. The point is their is adventure where ever you find it, even if your not aware. If your not aware, you can become the helpless victim. Thus the adventure can end or abruptly change into a new undesirable adventure. The adventure you experience can be mitigated and managed. Though at times prevented or expected. Will you face it with honor and dignity?

All of that which you are considering on accomplishing. Is all apart of your identity.
All of it together. No matter if they are deemed positive or negative.

All of the fears that you have conquered.
All of the fears that you still have.
All of the fears that you create. Is all apart of your identity.
All of it together. No matter if they are deemed positive or negative.

 The power of the man who owns all that is within his own world. The supreme intelligence of a man who has created and conquered his own self created world. The pride of a man who knows that only few are better than he is if any. Such is the great fall of every man when end of life nears.
Once the man of self defined greatness falls into sleep for the last time and then re-awakens refreshed. He then will know just how small and insignificant he truly was.

A wife who desperately tries to make her husband happy, when he is not. Will simply become his servant.

A person cannot make another person happy. A person can feel happiness for a short time, but once the happy event is concluded the temporary happiness fades. A person can even drown out their misery and sadness with  alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and medications. The misery and sadness still remains, just temporarily subdued and temporarily forgotten. The good and dutiful wife who sees sadness and misery in her husband will begin to do all she can to make her husband happy. This can be a fruitless effort as the problem whatever it may be is not addressed. The problem or problems must be addressed, confronted and conquered. The problem or problems if they cannot be solved, Then you must adapt and over come. You must learn new skills and new talents.
As the years go by for the good wife who continually endures and confronts all obstacles in her life. Will become like her husband when the grey and silver arrives.

Conquered Scars (unedited). 06 Feb 2012

Celebrate your scars. That are both seen and unseen. These are the real evidence of conflicts, hardships and adversities. Which you have faced, endured and conquered in your life. C.J.MacKechnie

Scars are not unsightly nor are they ugly. They are the permanent reminders of your errors and mistakes. They are reminders of your selfless sacrifice. They are proof that you went forward by choice in harms way to conquer evil or to be evil. Either way the sadness you endure from your scars can be a positive emotion instead of a negative emotion. The logical choice of deciding which emotion to place upon your scars is all your. Even if your scars were a result of youthful stupidity. Ask yourself are you the same stupid person today? have you grown and matured into someone more positive and respectful? Has your scars led you to GOD who became your Heavenly Father? Can you now love everyone equally as your brother and sister? Even if they wish you harm? If you can answer yes? Can you answer yes? even while sitting in a chair with lifeless legs? Even while needing assistance to eat, drink or go to the bathroom? Even if your alone is some forgotten hospital?

I can tell you this as a truth. This is a blessing. This is a gift. This life in which you must endure is the crucible of your resolve and humility to be the son or daughter of GOD
