I guess this would be similar to you can lead a horse to water.
I live in a beautiful area of Florida. People spend thousands of dollars to come to this state on vacations ranging from a simple weekend to 6 months. It is just interesting just how some people can never see a beautiful sunset or complain that the small cloud partially blocked the setting sun.
Beauty is everywhere even in the state of Missouri. Where I have heard the negative slang for this state. What is that other quote. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
If you have chosen not to see any beauty. Then you shall not ever see anything beautiful. It is really that simple.
Every single day. I see the same sun setting upon the exact same horizon and yet every sunset is uniquely beautiful and awe inspiring. This is exactly the same for your sunsets and sunrises. no matter where you are on this planet.

This is more than just being able to see beauty. This is about seeing everything and anything with a truthful heart. Or is that being able to see or to discern truths which is outside or beyond your physical senses?
Think about that for a moment. What is truth? Do you believe truths are actually lies? This is a hard one to grasp. Like the lie of racism. Historically racism started at the tower of Babel story. In these modern times the many races of humanity has been absolutely proven to be a lie. research the Human Genome project. Then the DNA finger printing. Yes, so since the 1980's this has been a known fact and yet no one talks about it. Yes, The final conclusions are that more than 99.9% of all of humanities DNA is identical. This is a proven fact based on logical evidence. You just cannot get around this big elephant in the room. Even though you may hear those who profit the most from racism that it's all lies and deceptions. Which is interesting because all of those racists have been proven to be absolute liars and deceivers themselves. Even though many have been titled with being men and women of God. Which is of course a human title and not a Godly or Righteous title.

 What are the truths that you are refusing to see? At first thoughts. You may proclaim nothing at all. Which in itself is a self deception. If you just focus on what is actually true and what is actually a lie. Then your life can begin to become pure and righteous can also begin to grow within you. This can begin with exaggerations. Exaggerations are lies and deceptions. Which will prevent any righteousness to develop within you.

Beauty is not something which is elusive to find, maintain or keep. Adding shiny trinkets or wearing high dollar clothing will not make you more beautiful and noticeable.
Even stressing about all of the methods of obtaining beauty via surgeries or deadly chemicals. Won't last long and may even cause you to look freakish.
There is a way to become an everlasting beauty. It is from deep within you. That part of you in which may be impossible for you to believe in.
The true source of beauty is from within your own spirit being. This is the true you. By becoming holy and righteous. Your connections to the divine becomes real and solid. You begin the march towards a younger looking you.
The second level of beauty is from within your own mindset. By changing the way you think, by accepting only those thoughts and beliefs which are pure and based in divine purity. To become mentally sinless.
The third level of beauty is of the physical level. By eating healthy. Exercising on a regular basis. By staying away from unhealthy and physically sinful habits. By avoiding any mind altering substances. By avoiding unhealthy foods and drinks.
The forth and most important level. By understanding the previous three levels and then accepting them all as the right way. Without any fears or expectations you begin the pure righteous path towards beauty. Not because you have to but because it is right and true. You will soon discover that becoming beautiful is not something which is important any longer to your true self.
Yet after the years and decades go by. All who look upon you. Will know you are a special kind of beautiful. They may not even understand why but they will know. Even when you are 77 years old.

Learn to see the spirit of any person. Look beyond their words and see through their intentions. In doing so their motives will be revealed. The truths and their deceptions easily known. The content and condition of their heart recognized.
A good man will be loyal to those who he deems as family or friend. Maybe, even to a fault. Adolf Hitler deceived an entire nation and still had his blind followers. Even after the sins were revealed. Then again, maybe those followers were not blinded and had become equally evil as Hitler.
So you, the good man must ascertain the heart of your friends and family. You must ascertain the life path they are on. Then decide if you want to join in on the grand party. Even if the cool mans path is on the highway of death. If you choose to be on that party path of death. Know that when the destination is finally reached. The same end will be for you as well. It won't really matter much, because even a good man will begin to lose his identity the longer he is on that path of death. All of the goodness and innocence within you must die first. Along with your good caring heart. All to be replaced with apathy, selfish hate, and selfish anger.

Once you begin to laugh, ridicule and tease those who use those extreme positive and compassionate words of inspiration. The disease of apathy is already within you and spreading like an incurable virus. The apathy disease is using you to further spread apathy throughout your personal world. Until, such a time that the whole word no longer cares enough to even exist.

The death of the disease of apathy comes when you force yourself to take the big pill of love, the cough medicine of peace and the chicken soup of harmony.

The life path is one where you will discover Love, peace, harmony and of course life. You will encounter compassion, mercy, forgiveness and other such wonderful words within your own spirit.

Dark beauty: (Unedited): 11 June 2010:

From within the shadows of your own darkness. You will never witness or experience the real beauty that can truly come from you. You can still smile your lonely smile. From that far away dark secluded place. Look and gaze at all that which is beautiful within the light. Know that you will not know such beauty, so as long as you choose to remain hidden within the darkest corner of your souls being. C.J.MacKechnie

Find the positive. Find the light. Then choose. The beautiful spirit that hides within that dark far away corner is still beautiful. Its OK to go out and into the light. It's safe and feel wonderful.

The Lord is your good shepherd. As a good shepherd he shall lead you to those green pastures.  If you are willing and brave enough to come out of your dark and secluded hiding place. Know this the good shepherd knows where you are and respects you enough to leave you be. You do not have to be alone in the dark corner of your soul. Come out into the divine light. Rejoice and dance.
