God is the only one who accepts or declines anything and everything at anytime. The Purple words below most likely applies to some minor degree.

Personal Note:
** All of humanities social constructs may not have any validity or truth whatsoever. Such as races of humanity. This one very idea is a human social construct which has zero supporting scientific evidence. Yet, this one perpetuated lie is believed as a truth by the vast majority of human beings even though scientific evidence has absolutely proved the idea of the races of humanity to be completely false. 1984 DNA Profiling and the 2003 Human genome project.

Holding onto any tradition and culture of humanity may be those stumbling blocks which keeps you from being in communication with God. Just remember the levite holymen wore bells and a rope around their waste in case they had a sinful thought while within the Holy of Holies. Any sinful thought was judged by God right then. Judgement was administered immediately. Then those outside of the Holy of Holies would pull the dead man out of the Holy of Holies.
Once you begin to read the Holy Bible more often on a daily basis. Once you pray and meditate more on a daily basis. Once you fast more for a specific purpose on a regular basis. Once you begin to flee from and reject all sins as already indicated by God. You will most likely will have to exclude yourself from *anything worldly.
You will begin to enter into the culture of God.
As God begins to see and accept your cleanliness, holiness and righteousness. Your prayers, meditation and worship will also be accepted and responded to.

Please do not read just the verse by habit anymore. Please read the entire topic and/or the entire chapter. To get the full value of meaning. Without getting off kelter by any other persons commentary. No matter how much you respect and admire their writings and teachings. After all they are also just like you and me. Deeply flawed human beings prone to errors, omissions and sins. If Peter was used by satan as a vessel to communicate with Jesus, Who are you? Peter walked with Jesus and even walked on water? So I say again who are you in comparison to Peter? So never think or assume that satan will not use you to communicate or do anything under any kind of false pretense. Even if you think it is righteous, true and holy. Even if you think the Holy Spirit is guiding you. Because even peter thought Jesus was wrong to be speaking about eating of my flesh and drinking of my blood. So who are you? Who am I? This is why all words must be checked by the Holy Bible. Nothing spoken or read can conflict with the Holy Bible. This includes the words of famous people and my words everywhere I have written them. They all must be judged and validated by those who are in the know. In which I have no one to validate any of my writings. So you must do your due diligence. Which includes prayer and meditation. Which includes a deep memory of injesting and digesting the whole word of God into your whole being.

I have no idea where it ends or begins and to what degree. We have to live in the world but not be of the world. Loving God and clinging to God in entirety seems to be key. I will admit I'm lacking in those categories and more.

To remain humble and less than all others seems to be key to spiritual growth.  You can't fake it or be self deceiving. Only the truth which is in your mind, heart and spirit will coalesce into a singular force of truth. From this essential truth does your spiritual growth come. From righteous living by your own free and logical choice does the understanding of the wisdom you have learned is gleaned. The understanding is from the spirit where as the wisdom is of The Word. So as long as The Word obeys the laws of Love, Peace, Harmony, Life and the law. From there you will know if the word is holy. from there you will know if the writer is in compliance and not deceived. Each and every word should be judged by this holy law in blue.

What are those things in which children grow up into believing are truths only to discover they all were lies? Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, Jack Frost, Bogey man, Sandman and many many more. These are all lies and deceptions in which kids are convinced through deceptive actions perpetuated by their own parents. Yes, It is the parents and all of the media of entertainment which continues the lies and deceptions onto every generation.
There is so much lies and deceptions in the world today. Even the adult versions of lies and deceptions. In which virtually every adult and parent believes them to be truths. These are not their fault in the spreading of lies and deceptions. Such as the separation and division of the races of humanity. For one.
What happens is when you believe so many lies as truths. When your confronted with an absolute truth you almost automatically believe it as a lie. Which is by years and decades of psychological conditioning on what to believe and how to think. All of our minds have become so entrapped. That even those who are brilliant in all things of their chosen religion. Have they themselves become so conditioned to believe that all of the bad and sad prophecies must happen and it is necessary for all of us to become expectant of them. This is all wrong.
 Bad and sad Prophecies from all of those prophets of doom and gloom are for warning purposes only. In which upon hearing we utilize our wisdom, knowledge and understanding to either prevent and or mitigate the now foreseen event(s). The wise words of hopeful possibilities spoken by any mentor are to be those things we each are to endeavor with continuous effort. Until, all of those wishes and dreams we have ever had are manifested into our individual realities.
This is how they are supposed to work.
I for one do not want GOD or Jesus  or any of the righteous angel to return when we have screwed up so much as a singular race of humans. Do you really want an angry GOD,  an angry Messiah or angry righteous Angels to return in order to exact the judgement of discipline upon us all. Because, this is what is in store for us all. Which has all been prophesied by many religions, cultures and traditions. 

But, of course no one is gonna believe what I have written. They are all to busy living their lives how they want. Those who know the Holy Books the most are very busy causing and effecting the return of God, The Messiah and of the Righteous Angels. Celebrating and rejoicing the return of a very angry God who is going to allow our human collective extinction. And it is going to be all of our fault. We had all of the warnings. We all know the presence of the fallen angels and their influence in the entire world systems. We are deserving of this final discipline.
The headlines of the Divine Newspaper of GOD shall read. Above the fold.

"Humans celebrate and rejoice all the way to Extinction"
