The assumption of outcome is negative and not desirable. This is back to that fundamental question. When do you just give up and quit? When is it OK to do nothing or surrender because it does not matter?
No matter what you think of Sun Tzu, It is important to understand his ways of thinking. No matter how insane you think he may be. Like his theory on death or desperate ground. Sometimes we purposefully place ourselves in dangerous situations. Much like this old Chinese war general who would think it OK to place his men into a strategic point and not tell them the whole truth. Think about WW2 and D-Day. Our own troops had zero option for retreat, zero option for flanking, zero option for protection, concealment and/or cover. The only option those men had was forward movement under a hail of flaming lead. Then look at the end result of D-Day. Those men who survived became living legends. They became men like no other. They faced and conquered all of their crucibles presented before them. Unlike those unfortunate ones. That when the ramp doors came down. A rain of lead was met with explosive blood.
Actually it matters not whose fault it is when you find yourself on desperate or death ground. What you do or don't do, will define who you will be for the rest of your life.
So when is it OK to just give up? When?
When is it OK to just sit down and quit? When?
When is it OK to do nothing? To just hide? to run away? When? 
IT NEVER IS OK!!!
No mater what unexplainable or unimaginable thing or danger or threat is before you, right now. You do not quit, you do not stop, you do not give up, you do not relent. Become like Sun Tzu's men placed on the ground of your certain death. Fight like there is no tomorrow or like there is no next 15 minutes. Fight with such a holy fury that those in hell, will know who you are, and they will shut the gates that Jesus broke opened, before you can arrive.
No matter who you are. No matter what your purpose is. Your freedom is yours to own. Let no person, no leader or no force take it from you. If you do not own, protect and care for your own freedom. Then someone else will and you will be enslaved because of your choice and lack of conviction and lack of resolve.

This is just like the demise of Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Which may result in holidays like St.Patrick's day, which now only seems to be about drinking green beer. Mardi Gras which seems to be about sins indulgence. From a historical stand point the American Christian faith is in a losing battle with it's own government and the apparent minority activists which seems to control it. . Absolute censorship and then to be followed by the removal of any religious contexts of Christianity. Until it is forgotten and never to be known again.

This is not only about the Christian faith. But, also the other faiths of the world.  Like the drastic changes to Islam. where a peaceful religion has been made into a war machine. Even the Christian faith still sends its own young people into wars, which is counter to the teachings of Jesus. Creating a perpetual crusade against Islam. Christianity is supposed to be about loving your brother. Going into war is not expressing love. Islam is supposed to be about living in peace. The entire Islamic culture is in a perpetual state of war. Even the Asian faiths which seem to be about existing in harmony with all things is now about chaos.

Jupiters Trail: (Unedited): 25 Dec 2012:

In the wake of Jupiter's movement around our central star, there will be eddies which will continually trail behind these great Jovian planets. There will also be a positive pressure of some kind on the leading edge of the Jovian planets, while at the same time having some kind of negative pressure behind the planets' trailing side. Coupled with the large gravity fields, an object passing in front of the planet can be actually be pushed away, just a little bit, while an object passing on the trailing side can be sucked in towards the planet, just a little, either way altering the orbits of objects greater than what the math of only gravity predicts. The eddy currents in the wake of these large planets can last for some distance and have an effect on the orbits of smaller objects which pass directly through these left-behind eddies, even when the expected gravitational fields of the large planets are long gone. The immediate gratification of this persons life's focus will leave them without long term companionship and without genuine love. While at the same time heighten the probability of gaining disease, depression and untimely death.
Are these people having fun? Sure they are in that moment, when the cost of the fun and excitement seems to be free. But, the long term cost will always be the same. A meaningless plateau will be experienced when there is nothing which can ever become greater in experienced. The realization of a life wasted. In which this person will be remembered for accomplishing nothing of any real purposeful thing.
Even there own family and friends will only remember them as only loving and caring for the next fun event, the next drink, the new drug, the next thrill, the next excitement. 
The friends that this person will only have is those with the same intention in life. These lose associations are just that, loose and without any mutual love for the other person. because, when the other associated person stops the related activity. A new person will replace the one gone and the former apparent friendships end.
The long term cost is always more than you think.

When you begin to care again. You become reacquainted with your humanity. Even if  the strongest emotions is anger and hatred. From there you can evolve into those more healing and calming emotions of love, compassion, mercy and forgiveness.

When you begin to care about the self. This will also evolve into caring about other peoples needs as well. You will eventually begin to lose the desire to hurt and harm other people. This is assuming you allow yourself to think and believe that love, caring, mercy and compassion is not weak but a strong emotion. Strong enough to prevent extinction. Where as the disease of apathy spreads itself throughout the entire population of a planet and then the extinction process begins. The whole people are unaware and cares not. They just have the thirst for more anger, more hatred and more violence. maybe even welcome death as a preferred event.

To disarm a people is useless. Especially when they (The People) will  resort to any other weapon. So, it will be necessary to psychologically brain wash the entire population to not even have the concept of self defense as an option to consider. The only option for a completely enslaved society to have for any protection is wholly from the government entity.

Absolute disarmament would be to cause all of the people to become sheep. Sheep are dumb and defenseless. All they know is to obey the shepherd. The concept of any manor of hand to hand combat would have to disappear from the minds of all people. The concept of offense or defense or writings like "The Art of War" must become absent from the minds of all peoples. Even games where those who do any form of battle or competition must be empty in the minds of people.

Any person who only wants for the pleasures to be received right now. Can easily sell themselves into slavery, when immediate gratification is the daily payment for labor completed.
This is also for the young person who feels it is not necessary to effort an education greater than the minimum standard. The greater your continued education the greater the guarantee of your freedom.
Any person who mocks, curses and belittles you for doing more than the minimum standard in any category of education, training, professionalism and etc. Only wants you to remain as enslaved as they have or will become. This also includes the accusations of trying to be of another race or skin tone. Especially when the concept of race is a provable lie and deception.
A slave will blindly believe anything and everything the masters teach. To the slave truth does not matter. To the master only control and authority over the slave matters. To the master the illusion of supremacy is required to keep the slaves in line and to prevent them from thinking to much. (Watch the movie "A Bugs Life").
To remain a slave don't think and ask no questions. To remain free always think and always ask questions.

Then learn about the minor function of the coloring of the skin. Learn how if you lose a primary function of the skin. You can die. Where as if you lose your skin coloring. Why do we not compare other organs of the body with other people such as the liver, kidneys, gall bladder and etc. How come there isn't racial stereo types for those who can drink much alcohol and those who cannot drink?
