Listening to the desires of your own heart and the dreams of your own mind are those natural sources of direction you should take in your own life. By not listening to or following those desires and dreams. You submit your entire identity and direction of life to the leading of the world. In which the fee the world will charge you for their leading and guidance. Is the giving of your whole self to the desires and demands of the world system. By you obeying all of the demands of the world does mean that you have already become an enslaved robot.

Even if at this time you are already committed to this journey you have taken in this life. Like me. You may have to be the slave to the world for only a little while longer. But, you can begin now to raise up your own children to be strong and courageous and to follow their own dreams and desires. In doing so. You a enslaved robot like me. Can alter the future of humanity with the generation of your own children educated with wisdom and understanding. Then teach them that all of humanity no matter where they are, are truly your brothers and sisters. This is a genetic and unarguable fact. That the lies and deceptions of race relations is just a false truth taught to the generations of men in order to keep them segregated and isolated from one another. Because a divided people is a people which can be enslaved easily. By maintaining an us versus them mentality also keeps everyone separated from one to another. Through your own fears do you isolate yourself .
Read and watch this. A fearful mom sees her son becoming a part of the Baltimore riots. Out of her fear for her son being shot by the cops. She reacts in accordance to her fears and then she becomes a hero. Would the cops and the military shot her son? Yes, if the riots had escalated. It is the evolution of compliance through pain. The mother complied through her assumed pain of the possible killing of her son.

Of course listening to and following your dreams and desires are merely conditional. This is assuming you are a good person as defined by those ancient Holy texts. There are many people who have read the holy texts from cover to cover and yet understanding none of the wisdom contained there in. For instance here in Florida just the other day in the news. His lawyer even stated that he is a decent man. Really! This is no Robin Hood. He even had two very high value cars in his driveway. This is most definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing.

But, this is just one bad person amongst the multitude of bad within this state of Florida, USA and world. Assuming he is found guilty in a court of law. But, his lawyer has already set up a plea bargain. So the general public may never know the real truth.

The good teacher cannot teach those who consider themselves greater than the good teacher and is only the ways to their self defined means.

 The good teacher seems to always want to teach anyone who is present in the hopes that their heart and mind are open. The desires of the student can be very muddled with many distractions and false beliefs. The pride and ego of the student can become blockades to the good teacher. Especially if the student knows they are smarter and wealthier or more important than the good teacher will ever be. Then this student cannot be effectively taught.
Selfishness can also blind the student to learning those little details which are necessary in life. Such as wisdom and understanding. Everyone knows that wisdom and understanding will not profit you in the world system as led by those false god's. Wisdom and understanding causes you to question the human leaders of those false god's. So this is why wisdom and understanding is not included in the world's formal educational systems.

The student is everyone and the teacher can also be anyone. When the teacher has too much superior pride in the positions they hold. then they can no longer be taught, nor can they unlearn those truths which have turned out to be lies.
Even the wealthier than you family member or friend can have so much ego and pride that they automatically discount your less than them counsel. Woe to those who discount and negate wisdom and understanding.

The older person who is obviously far less intelligent then you, maybe even by more than 100 points. These people have gained much from their unique observations from their perspective understandings in this life. Which is alien of yours. By humbling yourself to listen to their counsel in matters which may be blind to you. Their overly simplistic approach may just enlighten your clouded awareness and save you and those whom you represent from a potential calamity of unknown definition.
A humble leader is a quiet teacher and a listening student. How can a teacher be quiet? It is through their actions that they teach those who choose to watch and follow them.

No matter what religion or anti-religion you are in. You are taught what to believe as wrong and false. What is bad and evil. 

This also, includes the gifts from God. This also includes the partial truth of prayer. 
Because, If you were to be taught the wholeness of the truth the rule of authority that those religious rulers have over the vast majority of humanity would become like vapor. 

The supernatural gifts of GOD originates from GOD. Your intention is of your origin. 

The wholeness of prayer is 
Pray is you talking to God. Meditate is you listening to GOD. Contemplating is you trying to understand what GOD has told to only you. Worshiping GOD is you - worshiping GOD. 
This is the wholeness of prayer as I understand it. 
Think about a respectful conversation you have with another person. You talk and listen. You think about what has been said. Then talk and listen some more. This is respectful.

In the Christian religion. We are taught to only talk. There is no listen, no dialogue, the unaware absence of respect for God. The Christian follower is almost forced to believe that the chain of command within churches is all in constant communication with GOD. Never realizing GOD does not.

In another religion. You must only exactly recite the prayer as told to you. Then when you are done, you are done. There is nothing else. The followers discover that the GOD of their understanding does not talk to them and there is a great feeling of absence. So, the followers see the authority and power of the men who stand above them. The followers conclude that GOD talks to them. Never realizing that GOD does not. 

Since Jesus, The chain of command between you and GOD is all there is. You to GOD and GOD to you. No one else between.

Prayer basics: (Unedited): 02 March 2013:

Absolute basics of prayer. I'm using the word prayer as an all encompassing word. Because, it is an all encompassing process to however you define the God/Divine.
1): Prayer is essentially you speaking. Just like when you verbally speak to any other human person. The understanding of prayer is that simple. The respect and honor when speaking to any authority is very similar.
2): Meditation is essentially you listening. Just like you do when you are intentionally paying attention to any other person who you are supposed to be listening to. The respect and honor when listening to any authority is very similar.
3): Contemplation is that quiet time spent trying to understand what the authority has spoken to you. Again when any person or being in authority has given you words. Your focused intention and attention to those words is respectful and honorable.
4): Taking Action is that very real action you take in your whole life in respectful honor of God/Divine. This is done in your private and professional life. This is done from within your physical actions, mental thoughts and spiritual existence. 

So, basically we all already know how to pray and meditate. You just have to begin to apply the time in a quality environment. The quality environment is often times defined by God/Divine. You must remember we are not the authority persons. We are the children of God/divine and currently have not earned the right to speak with authority unless back up by God/Divine in some action pushed upon you by God/Divine.

Yes, there are levels in prayer and meditation. This post is only about the absolute fundamentals/basics. C.J.MacKechnie

 It is not enough to only pray. To only say what you want to say to GOD and then end your communication with Amen Amen. I have met many Christians who have had no direct contact with GOD or any real knowing of any communication from GOD in any manor, for decades of being in the faith. Even with faithful daily prayers, meal prayers and group prayers.
 I ask you this and it is this simple. How do you greet your parent, sibling and/or friend? Assuming your relationships are healthy, with honor and with mutual respect. This is the same way you begin to speak with GOD. Just say hello and wait. Actively listen with a quiet mind. This is respect. The same kind of respect you give to your family member or friend when they are speaking to you. You don't think of other more important things like the sporting event or shopping or getting a hair cut or shoveling snow in Florida. OR DO YOU? (I'm still working on that one). If you disrespect your own family and friends in favor of the big game or any other trivial reason. Then you may already have your answer as to why you have had no real contact with GOD, No real direction from GOD, No real signs from GOD and no real miracles from GOD.
Prayer is you speaking to GOD.
Meditation is you listening to GOD.
This is critically important to understand. The entire Christian faith must fundamentally change in this regard. Because, Prayer without meditation is disrespectful just as you talking to your spouse and then refusing to take the time to listen to their response. Even if it is only a hello. 
A Christian is supposed to be like Jesus, walk like Jesus and perform miracles like Jesus. In today's world there is virtually none of it. Why? Well, It is the very first thing we all have been taught and it is prayer. But, We have only been taught a part of the communication process with GOD. Just as Jesus spoke directly with GOD. So can you when you become the son or daughter of GOD and brother or sister to Jesus. You do not need an intermediary.

:WARNING: If you begin a complete prayer life. You begin to learn how to silence your mind and patiently wait. You will have a knowing of GOD and everything else (scary part). Then the sins you enjoy in secret will become realized by you and that they were never ever secret. Including the sins of your own thinking.
:WARNING2: The gifts of Jesus will begin to manifest in you as intended by GOD and without warning. If you do not learn the disciplines necessary to work the gifts chosen for you. Then they will become like curses to you. Because, In the truth of the gifts. They are not meant for you. They are meant for those who are in need. You are just the holder of the gifts and are responsible for them, even though those gifts are NOT YOURS.
