 it is easy to express thanks without actually feeling the gratitude within you. Especially, when cultural and social expectations almost force/demand you to express thanks for things or when an occurrence for your behalf has been finished.
Can you take gratitude to that next level above cultural or social expectations?
Can you take gratitude to that level where not only are you thankful for all of the good things which have come to you in life but for all of the bad things as well?
Because the good things can make you a stronger or better human being when it was you who had created your own trials and tribulations. What do I mean by this? The person who takes that very difficult class does their personal best with a huge effort and comes out with a "C-". The nonathletic or disabled person who takes a karate class and achieves their highest belt rating. Even if it is not a black belt. The adult person who has spent 10-20 years and finally learns the alphabet. The athlete who does their thing for hours everyday not because they have to but because they have to. Do you understand the difference. There is a difference.
Once you achieve your thing. You become better for it. Are you ready for the ugly.
Those who have been abused and tortured throughout their lives and becomes free of it. First is forgiveness and then the process of being thankful can begin. How can someone forgive a person who repeatedly rapes a young person over much time? That one is tough for me to fathom and yet I can and have forgiven my dead adoptive parents for what they have done to me. I have forgiven those who knew and yet did nothing. I have forgiven those who knew I was a waste of effort or time.
Forgiveness had to be first and more than just words. Even though I had to express forgiveness often and over many years.
All of the bad and sad which occurred in your life and in mine. Was our crucible forced upon us and we survived it all. Granted it may have been by the skin of your/my teeth or by an awful lot of lucky things which happened in unexplained timings. It was all of those unwanted and undesired things which has made you who you are today. Are you better for it? Are you stronger for it? Will you become better from those fires of living in virtual hell all of those years and decades?
Becoming north of 50 Years old. I can say I've become a better human being because of all of the abuses and tortures I have endured in my life. If it wasn't my body it would have been another body.

So what can happen when after you have genuinely forgiven and have genuinely become thankful of your unfortunate past? Those are two of your own seedlings in which you will have to grow, to cherish, to love, to nourish. Then just wait and see the blessings unfurl like a most beautiful of flower.

What Home Is: (Unedited): 04 July 2016:

The evidence of a fractured family can be seen in the children who lose the conceptual understanding of what home is.

Hearing children talk can be very revealing. A young person comes to a school for a public event. He is alone but wants to play a sport. His mom is in jail and his dad is where ever. What he says is his address is "where he stay at". His friend also has an address of "where he stay at". He stays with an aunt and is not with him for support. Another friend is also staying at a place but just didn't show up for an event he really wanted to go to.
Yep. This caused the flashback time. Back to my foster care days. In which I knew that those families and homes were just places I was staying at. It never occurred to be that they would ever become a home. The word home, family and love were concepts in which I had no real experience or understanding of.
Today, In the presence of my children I posed the question "What is home?" Along with the other words like what, why, How and who. Their answers are private for all of you readers. But, I smiled and the knowing that they all knew. Is a wonderful feeling. That a former foster kid of two different states. Having Endured various forms of abuse and torture. Having coming close to death many times. A family has been established in spite of the fact that we have been just one level above being homeless for the last twenty six plus years. Yet for all of our financial hardship. Our children know what home is. In that hope. I hope the lessons of family and home make it to the grand kids and great grand kids as something which is important to know and to work for.
You do not have to be poor and not know what home is. You can also be very wealthy. I have seen this to. Where children have become strangers to their own parents. To such a degree that the children prefer the relationship with non family members over their own flesh and blood relatives. But, the mom and dad still provide them cash, cars and credit cards. I've watched them drunk and drugged up. Of course this is not every rich kid or every kid who grows up in unfortunate circumstances.

Jehovah does only what is right and just. No human can question or even understands why He does what He does. So to when judgement befalls upon a people. In their ignorance and arrogance. They know not they have already been judged. The crazy and insane prophets which spoke to everyone in gibberish have all been silenced and the people who have already been judged shall be unaware of the silence. Maybe, even the living legends like Billy Graham shall be taken home as evidence. The timing of this great reverends birth and death shall be perfect. His death shall be celebrated by everyone for different reasons. The Great Reverend Billy Graham is a sign. This is all I know. I do not know the depth but I do feel it is a very strong lesson. Very similar to what Israel has had to go through. When they have sinned and had rejected all aspects of Jehovah.

The already judged people shall go on with their lives. Being married, Having babies. living their lives however they shall choose. Living in sin without any guilt or remorse. Completely apathetic to all of those they have harmed all along the way. Even when Noah and his family was locked away in their great ship. No one noticed. Only when the strange rain began to fall and the noise of roaring waters in the distance did they finally know the truth. All of their doom was at hand and only 8 human adults were saved. So to shall it be when doomsday comes for the once protected people. they shall know a protracted extinction.

In order to avert any righteous disaster which comes because of the divine and righteous judgement of Jehovah. You must flee and reject all sin. You must create a history of prayer and fasting as only accepted by Jehovah. You must become righteous and holy as only accepted by Jehovah. AND you must do all of this by your own free choice. All without any fear's, threat's or intimidation's. All because you know it is the right thing to do and you have that desire to want to do what is right, just and true.
If you do not care. Then apathy is a sign of being already righteously judged.

To cherish all life.

To obey the commandments of God because it is the right and wise thing to do and not because you have to or are forced to.

Not because they have to or force themselves to, but because they want to out of their own capacity for love as a true son or daughter of their Heavenly father. Who intimately knows each of His children.
This is only for those people who are actually living their lives in righteousness and holiness as only recognized by God, their Heavenly Father..
They may be the remnant. Even if you are not to be one of the remnant. Mathew 24:13, Then be the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. Know matter how the end shall come upon you. Be the good and faithful servant. 
This is not and is about the rapture. Assuming it is or isn't a false teaching. You must open up your mind to the fact that there are many false teachings. The rapture may be one of those false teachings. Just as the prosperity teaching is a false teaching.

Now is the time to make your move and become settled before 2022. If you are having the urging to move. Then make it so.Pray and mediate always and before you do a thing. Fast before doing a thing. My use of the 2022 date is only a reference to the next coming Shemitah. The USA is no longer the economic leader in the world. The USA in 2015 sinned against God by legalizing gay marriage. 2015 is the year of the fallen USA. Will the destruction of the USA come before this coming up election cycle or in the 2022 Shemitah? Only God knows. We lowly humans can only project possibilities and probabilities.
Choose a place which seems mostly devoid of every manor of sin. Alcohol, drugs, LGBTQ organized people and racism.
You may have to come together with other people who are like minded and who claim to be on the righteous and holy path. You may have to establish or be a part of an organized movement. In the literal sense.
Do not be around or have any relationships with those people who are actively engaged in sin or sinful rights. Because, if they know who you are and your beliefs. Then they have already been judged with a great delusion and their freedom to change from wrong to right is no longer possible. They will just be entertained and ridicule you because of your perceived idiotic way of thinking.

I am becoming aware that being a Christian in the modern day world may no longer be tolerated or accepted. If it s possible and legal it will be necessary to form exclusive christian business clubs outside the awareness of modern day society.  In which if you are not associated with the structure. Then you will not be allowed to participate. I would suppose these Christian entities will be their own micro economies. Solely exclusive to one another. The devout Christians will also need to make decisions to no longer do any business with any outside non Christian entity or person. Unless otherwise approved by the whole.
The time will come when a Christian will not be able to safely eat at restaurants without  becoming sickened on purpose. Christians will be targeted for assaults of every kind. Christians will even be attacked while going to and leaving from church.

 The falling away of the church in Christian prophecy. Are the interpretations correct? Who is going to fall away or is the falling away meant for all persons and religious organizations? Isn't allowing sin into your holy places a kind of falling away? Then publicly stating your now in agreement and accepting on going sinful actions as a rightful lawful freedom. Who is falling away? The church. Will individual people fall away? Those who were only religious and yet can seethe sin entering into their holy places. BUT, Those people who want or need righteousness and holiness in their lives. Will also flee from all manor of deception even if those deceptions originate from their religions and churches.
The righteous and holy people will begin to know. That just as those holy men had to prepare themselves before entering the holiest of places with sacrifices. We to must prepare ourselves with sacrifices before we can truly worship God. To be in sin and with every intention to continue on in sin. Christian Church denominations are falling away all over the planet. In the middle East a great Christian genocide is taking place and there will be no rapture for them. Only suffering as the Christian church begins to celebrate their acceptance of sin within their churches and denominations.
The falling away by the devout righteous and holy as only accepted by God. Just as the sacrifice of Able was accepted so to shall the righteous. While Cain's sacrifice through his willful disobedience was rejected. Then through Cain's rejection came murder. In the US. The presidential elections may take place. Assuming a bad thing does not happen and President Obama retains his office indefinitely through martial law. The election of either Hillery Clinton or Donald Trump as president will be a bad sign for Christians. Actually, one will be bad from an Apollo believing corporate worldly person and worse with a pay to play special interest liar and possible traitor. Her election will see more of Christianity become a worldly evil thing which must be controlled and criminalized. It will most likely get worse for the devout Christian who is unwilling to accept any form of sin as a legal free right. Loss of employment, loss of housing Loss of any government aid and medical care. Which will lead to homelessness and starvation. Pan handling for money is a crime in many places. So what are you going to do? Is your Christian faith that important. That you will allow your children to starve along with you? Fear not, the government wont allow that to happen. They will take your children. It is coming and will you endure unto the end? However that may happen.

Those that do. May be the ones who needs the most compassion, consideration, love and forgiveness. As they may think of themselves as not worthy of any compassion, consideration, love or forgiveness. In doing so and without any expectancy of any return. You show the world just how beautiful of a rose you truly are even though the whole of the world will want to pluck you from the branch. This is OK. Because you being the rose is just a part of who you are. Which will grow a new. The rose is just a part of you and not the whole of you. The roses which come from you is like your love, mercy, compassion and all of the other good qualities of you. They are all limitless and without ending. True beauty is within you and from the spirit, mind and heart of who you truly are. The physical part of you is just the part of you which emanates that which is from within you.

Who are those that do? What have they done or continue to do? 
Some people have spent their entire lives making mistakes and errors in judgements for almost forever as it may seem to them. Their never ending bad living state to them seems impossible to get out of. They are in that downward spiral which seems to be going no where and they are out of control. They may have even given up trying to be in control over their own lives.
Maybe the those that do are your parents? Or just your dad or just your mom. Maybe, the person is a grand parent or both. It doesn't matter. You were born into the family and each persons history is not your fault. Nor can you fix them and their problems. They may never be who you want them to be either. So all you can do is love them and continually give unto them you compassion, mercy and consideration. That is all. Is it fair for you? Of course not. Those thoughts of fairness and unfairness are weeds which will choke the beauty and love out of you. So fight all negative thoughts out of your mind daily.

You can only do all of this when you are clean, sober and pure. 
Without any pride, ego or arrogance on your part. You are the humble gift to them. You are their renewed hope if they can ever choose to open their blind eyes and closed off minds to see and know something beautiful within them all still exists and is still among them. 
You are their fruit which is good, sweet and wonderful. Even though their vines are now barren of any fruit sweet or sour, healthy or sickly. You are a gift to them from a God who wants them to return to His family.
